Project Description:
This entrance floor renovation reshapes the home’s entryways into durable, winter‑ready zones that balance everyday practicality with a clean, modern look. Materials and details were chosen to stand up to snow, moisture, and heavy foot traffic while keeping the first impression of the home bright and welcoming.​

Preparation & Waterproofing:
Existing finishes were removed and the subfloor was checked for moisture, levelness, and structural integrity to provide a stable base for the new system. A dedicated waterproofing layer was installed at the main entrance, with all edges and transitions sealed to protect against water and salt tracked in during winter conditions.​

Flooring & Finishing Details:
New high‑performance flooring, such as porcelain tile or an equivalent winter‑rated material, was laid with professional leveling, setting, and grouting to deliver a slip‑resistant, long‑lasting surface for busy entry zones. Trims, baseboards, thresholds, and door seals were adjusted or replaced, then caulked and sealed to refine the look, improve insulation, and support smooth door operation.​
